In the WWE, you are often judged on how well you can develop and adapt your gimmick.

Of course, there are a few extreme circumstances - John Cena, I am looking at you - but more often than not, WWE superstars have to go through changes in order to keep their gimmick fresh.

One way of adapting your gimmick is to do a simple heel or face turn. The pops you can receive from the WWE Universe if you turn face can be huge, whilst the heat you can attract from turning heel can also be beneficial to your character.

Just look at when Seth Rollins turned on his Shield brothers. The reaction was unbelievable and now he's one of the top dogs in the company.

Over the years, there have been plenty of heel turns and face turns, and according to Cageside Seats' rumour page, there could be a rather surprising turn coming in the next few months.

They are reporting that WWE may consider turning Sasha Banks heel.

The Boss has been a top face for the women's division, feuding with Charlotte Flair, but according to the latest gossip, she could be set for a heel run.

Banks was introduced to the main roster as a heel following her promotion from NXT. As part of Team BAD, Banks was alongside Naomi and Tamina Snuka, but after that stable failed to take off, she became a top face.

However, it looks like WWE are ready to turn her back again, and have her as one of the company's top heels.

Banks is expected to feud with Nia Jax over the next few weeks, which means any heel turn isn't expected soon, but according to Cageside Seats, it could happen within the next few months.
