Simon Cox hit a hat-trick as Swindon held Coca-Cola League One leaders Scunthorpe to a 3-3 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Cox completed his treble with an 80th-minute penalty after Krystian Pearce had put the hosts on course for victory at Glanford Park.

Cox opened the scoring and then equalised after Grant McCann and Martyn Woolford put the Iron ahead.

Luciano Becchio scored the only goal as Leeds beat Cheltenham to move within a point of Scunthorpe in second.

Becchio was on target with just six minutes gone at Whaddon Road, heading in a Frazer Richardson cross to lift Gary McAllister's side above Millwall on goal difference.

Millwall were thrashed 4-1 at Brighton as Glenn Murray hit a brace and also had time to miss a penalty.

Murray, an early replacement for the injured Adam Virgo, opened the scoring just before half-time.

Tresor Kandol equalised but Murray restored the lead - moments after seeing a spot-kick saved - and Bradley Johnson and Dean Cox wrapped up the scoring.

Kevin Gallen struck an 81st-minute winner as MK Dons moved up to fourth with a 1-0 win over Tranmere at stadium:mk.
