Stephen Curry explains why he missed wide-open dunk against the Lakers

Everything has been going well for the Golden State Warriors recently, at least in the standings.

The Dubs have finally taken the outright lead in the west and any concerns that Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would not gel in a Warriors uniform have been firmly allayed.

As part of their current 11-game win streak, the Dubs brushed past the Lakers on Friday night with a 109-85 blowout at the Staples Center, but Curry was still left a tad embarrassed.

The first-ever unanimous and current back-to-back MVP raced the open floor in Los Angeles and missed a wide-open dunk in transition.

Of course, Chef Curry heard all about his blooper on Twitter. So, naturally, that's exactly where the point guard thought he would explain where it all went wrong.

According to Curry, the Thanksgiving meal from the night before was the culprit, even though it did not stop him from tallying 24 points, five rebounds and five steals.

The Warriors were victorious again last night, this time against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry banished his demons pretty quick to record 34 points last night, and in more good news for Golden State, it appears as though Draymond Green's ankle injury is not as bad as first feared.
