Bournemouth boss Jimmy Quinn has admitted the League Two strugglers cannot afford to sign Weymouth's transfer-listed striker Stuart Beavon.

Beavon is out of contract at the Wessex Stadium at the end of the season and was put up for sale by the Terras last week.

"Stuart is a good player, but Weymouth are asking too much for him," Quinn told BBC Radio Solent. "They want to get him off the wage bill, but we can't pay a fee."
