Based on what we’ve been seeing on Monday Night Raw in 2017, you’d think the red brand features only two women on the entire roster.
Sasha Banks and Charlotte have been doing battle for many months now, and fans are already growing tired of the game of hot potato they’re playing with the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
MULTIPLE TITLE CHANGES
This is the polar opposite of what’s going on over at SmackDown Live.

Becky Lynch is the only star to hold the title, yet almost every single female is heavily featured in programming.
It makes you forget that Raw also features the likes of Bayley, Summer Rae and Emma – with or without injuries.
You can’t deny that The Boss and The Queen are doing incredible work, and they deserve the opportunities they’ve worked so hard for, and it comes as no surprise that the higher-ups in the company have been indecisive on the direction the division is going.
The Inquisitr are reporting that the creative team have gone back and forth plenty of times over the last few months, and still can’t decide who they want to solidify as the top star.
DIRECTION OF WOMEN'S DIVISION
The decision to have Banks win on Monday was a late call, and including Ric Flair was an even later decision.
This is the reason why we are seeing so many title changes, as well as the fact that the WWE want to continue Charlotte’s brilliant pay-per-view record going forward.
Along with this, they have taken Banks’ injuries into account, as they can’t place her at the top, only for her to fall injured and then force more rushed title changes.
The championship situation then takes a further twist, with the inclusion of Ronda Rousey.
THE BOSS OR THE QUEEN AS #1?
If the UFC star appears at WrestleMania, she’s scheduled to face off with Charlotte, meaning the title will be with Banks then so their feud could end without the championship on the line.
By WrestleMania, the company would have to decide whether Banks is the bigger star as she has the title or Charlotte, as she’d be trusted to take on a mega star in the form of Rousey.
The opportunities they’ve had have been great, they were the first woman to compete inside of the Hell in a Cell and it’s expected that their title match at Roadblock: End of the Line will also feature a major stipulation.
One thing is for sure, the title will continue to change hands until they reach a decision, and with Charlotte doing magnificent work as a heel, it won’t be a surprise to see her as the WWE’s number one female star.
