The Indiana Pacers became the latest victims of the offensive juggernaut that is the Golden State Warriors after losing 142-106 at Oracle Arena last night.
The encounter also allowed us to see two of the best small forwards in the league do battle once again as Kevin Durant and Paul George squared off.
It may have been a game to forget for PG13 but he will be happy to know that his rival in the Bay Area holds him in very high regard.
"He's [Paul George] my favourite player in the league, I've been saying that for a while," Durant told reporters prior to the game on Monday. "He's just so smooth, man. He can do it all. He can pass, he can rebound, defend, shoot the J, post up, handle the ball. He's my favourite player.
"Just getting to know him over the last few years, it makes the competition even better when we play against each other. I got nothing but respect for Paul. It's a mutual respect. We always have battles when we play against each other."
The All-Star duo played together for Team USA at the Olympics in Rio over the summer and have clearly developed a bond as a result.
However, they'll now likely have to wait until next season before they meet again after the Warriors swept the season series.
