It must be tough to be Mamadou Sakho at the moment.
Despite Liverpool being near the summit of the Premier League table, there are obvious deficiencies in the side – mainly the defence – that he could have a hand in solving.
However, he's been frozen out of the squad by manager Jurgen Klopp to the point where a January move away from Anfield now looks likely.
A report in the Daily Mail even claims that he has not trained at the club's Melwood training base since September, with Klopp making the decision to have him train with the under-23 side at the Kirkby Academy.
And though his career is stuck in a bit of a rut right now, he has resolved to keep himself in top condition ahead of that potential move in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old posted the video to his personal Instagram account and it showed him running, skipping and jumping in his home gym.
And he tagged the video with the message "Keep working hard. Thanks for your support".
The 26-year-old has yet to feature for the Reds this season, but the club is still expecting to be able to move him off their books in the new year.
The Mail report says that fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion are keen on signing him, and they may get their chance considering they have climbed up to the heady heights of seventh in the table.
Sakho arrived on Merseyside from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 for a fee of £18million, but a series of injuries have largely prevented him from adding to the 79 appearances he has already made.
But if he continues to work hard during his exile, it won't be hard to imagine in a bigger club than West Brom coming in for him when they have the chance.
