Hartlepool have secured the services of on-loan Coventry striker Kevin Kyle for a further two months.

The 27-year-old will now remain at Victoria Park until the end of the year, and is scheduled to return to the Ricoh Arena following Pools' home clash with Crewe on Sunday, December 28.

The former Sunderland striker scored three goals as the League One outfit recorded four consecutive wins last month although the two clubs are still in negotiations regarding his eligibility for the FA Cup.
