Frazier Campbell continued his recent goalscoring form as he helped England Under-21s claim a deserved victory over the Czech Republic at Bramall Lane.

The Tottenham striker, who is on loan at White Hart Lane from Manchester United, opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a smart finish from a narrow angle after he had latched on to goalkeeper Joe Lewis' long goal-kick.

Aston Villa's Craig Gardner was the other standout performer for Stuart Pearce's side and he capped a composed performance in the centre of midfield with a goal from a free-kick in the 55th minute shortly before Jamie O'Hara missed a penalty.
