England’s Jack Gallagher is one of the many cruiserweight stars the WWE have brought in to boost the division, as well as starring on the new Network show, 205 Live.
Gallagher was part of the Cruiserweight Classic earlier this year and despite losing in the second round to Akira Tozawa, he certainly created a buzz amongst the WWE Universe.
His unique look and gentleman-like approach to competition has already made him a fan favourite amongst many, and he showcased his quirky approach this past week on Monday Night Raw when he formally informed Ariya Daivari that he was interfering in his match.

However, the wrestling ring isn’t the only place where Gallagher showcases his gentleman mannerisms and submission skills, as he also holds a 2-0 record in professional mixed martial arts under his real name, Jack Claffey.
The 26-year-old is known for unique submission holds, such as his Achilles lock or the crucifix armbar, and he utilised those skills in the unscripted sport, showing just how talented he really is.
The first took place in December 2015 at the Night of Gladiators 25 event, where Gallagher took down Stefan Cowley in under 10 seconds, and immediately took control of the contest.
After a brief tussle against the cage, he managed to lock in an impressive guillotine choke to pick up the victory in under two minutes.
Not a bad way to make your debut.
His second fight – and win – came in April of this year.
He locked in an armbar on Cesar Valencia at the ICE FC 13 event, and he certainly showed improvements in the striking department compared to his first outing.
It looks like the WWE could have a star on their hands, with somebody who seems to excel in every department.
