Craig Bellamy scored his first international goal in 14 months to give Wales an encouraging victory over Denmark in the Brondby Stadium.

The West Ham striker fired home his 16th goal for his country with a fine low drive into the bottom corner to beat Stoke's Thomas Sorensen with 13 minutes left.

In injury time Boaz Myhill produced an outstanding save to touch away a close-range effort from Martin Vingaard before Soren Larsen headed against the bar a minute later.
