Paige VanZant will come up against Michelle Waterson on Saturday night, but she had to do something completely crazy in order to make the weight for the fight.

As her opponent Waterson hit the 115-pound mark on Friday, VanZant - also known as 12 Gauge - had to reach the weight of 116 pounds for her strawweight fight and in order to do so, she needed to strip off her gear to lose the extra weight. She would be doing the weigh-in naked.

She was in a very cheerful mood by the prospect of getting naked and didn’t seem too bothered by having to do it at all.

As you can see in the tweet below, VanZant smiled and joked around for the cameras behind a screen as she stripped off in order to reach the weight required.

Even after the weigh-in, VanZant had a little bit of a dance off with Waterson during their face off, showing confidence in both of the fighters ahead of their clash on Saturday. VanZant took a brief break from UFC to go on Dancing with the Stars earlier this year.

12 Gauge has a good record in MMA, going 7-2 after nine fights, with five of those bouts under the UFC name. She has a UFC record of 4-1. Her most recent win against Bec Rawlings back in August earned herself Performance of the Night.

Meanwhile, this will only be Waterson's second fight in UFC after she won against Angela Magana in The Ultimate Fighter 21 finale.
