Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson insists there will be no repeat of Saturday's tame display when his men travel to Prenton Park for their FA Cup replay against Tranmere.
The sides played out a goalless draw at London Road and Darren Ferguson's side have goalkeeper Joe Lewis to thank for a string of saves that kept Posh in the competition.
"The only positive I can take from the game is the fact that we are still in the hat for the third round and we will certainly be a whole lot better in the replay," Ferguson said.
"Everyone could see we fell way below the standards we have set ourselves and we can't afford to put in this kind of poor performance.
"I have got nothing but praise for Ronnie and his team and it would have been an injustice if we had nicked the win."
Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore admitted: "We had three gilt-edged chances and had it not been for their goalkeeper we would have won the game."
