Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has played a straight bat to reports linking him with a January move for Leicester striker Matty Fryatt.

The 22-year-old has scored 19 goals this season for the League One Foxes and has reportedly rejected a new contract, while Warnock is looking for firepower when the transfer window reopens.

"He's a player who scores goals but at the moment there are lots of names being mentioned, and the fact remains I can't do anything because of the way the finances are," Warnock told the South London Press.
