New Watford manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he is fully committed to the Championship strugglers.

Speculation mounted over the weekend that the 35-year-old was ready to walk out on the Hornets just two weeks after arriving, but Rodgers was quick to quash the rumours.

"The honest answer is that I haven't signed my contract but that was something I was comfortable enough coming in with," said Rodgers. "The story has come out because people have got wind that I haven't signed it. But over the course of the next few days it should be finalised and should be done and then we can move on."
