Kenwyne Jones led the way as Sunderland eased their own relegation fears by plunging West Brom deeper into trouble with a 4-0 win at the Stadium of Light.

The Trinidad and Tobago international struck twice within a minute before the break to pave the way for caretaker boss Ricky Sbragia to claim a first win.

Andy Reid chipped in with a 39th-minute header, and Djibril Cisse made sure from the penalty spot two minutes after the restart after substitute Roman Bednar had been penalised for handball.
