Wycombe had their lead at the top of Coca-Cola League Two cut to seven points after they could only draw 1-1 with Exeter at Adams Park.

Peter Taylor's side have been in imperious form at home this season and eased into the lead after six minutes when Matt Harrold was fouled by Daniel Seaborne in the box and then scored from the spot.

They looked set for their 13th league win of the campaign before Emmanuel Panther met Matthew Gill's cross to give Exeter the equaliser.

Brentford moved ahead of Bury into second place after they beat Bournemouth 2-0 at Griffin Park.

Marcus Bean headed home Sam Wood's free-kick after 22 minutes before he nodded another goal in first-half stoppage-time to seal the win.

Bury slipped into third after they could only manage a 2-2 draw with Darlington at Gigg Lane.

Simon Brown's own goal put Bury ahead but Ian Miller's header restored parity just before half time.

Andy Bishop's 53rd-minute penalty restored Bury's lead but Richie Foran volleyed home 19 minutes later to grab a point for Darlington.

Rochdale jumped three places to sixth after they beat Shrewsbury 2-1 at Spotland.

Lee McEvilly scored both the hosts' goals after Grant Holt had hit the opener for the Shrews.
