Bristol City striker Lee Trundle has joined League One side Leeds on a month-long loan deal.

Trundle has made just four starts for the Robins this season and will move to Elland Road until February 9 in order to gain first-team football.

City boss Gary Johnson said: "It's a good move for all parties. Lee gets games, Leeds get a new striker and we get a player back in a month's time a lot fitter."

He added: "We had a discussion and Lee needs to be playing regularly.

"At the moment with the weather as it is it's very difficult to get players outside of the first XI matches as they're all getting postponed.
