Burnley manager Owen Coyle has urged his side to return to winning ways in the FA Cup at home to QPR.

The Clarets go into the game on the back of a miserable run in the Championship, having lost their last three matches.

However, Coyle sees the third-round replay against big-spending Rangers as an ideal opportunity to kickstart their season, explaining: "The nature of football means you are always going to get that smack and the sooner you get back up again the better and that starts on Tuesday against QPR."

He added: "The bottom line is we have not had enough players in the past few games playing to the standards set previously. They have to look at themselves to resurrect that."
