Jim Magilton admitted his Ipswich side had been beaten by two examples of world-class skill following their 3-1 defeat at Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round.

Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack opened the scoring after just 16 minutes before Alex Bruce's 34th-minute strike levelled the scores.

But the Premier League outfit regained control thanks to two stunning free-kicks from Ballack and fellow midfielder Frank Lampard.

Magilton said: "Chelsea have got world-class players and when you give them opportunities on the edge of the penalty box, they will hurt you and that is what they did.

"They are a very good side but our pride is still intact, we'll take something from the game and move on."
