Ipswich manager Jim Magilton insists he is still the "right man for the job" after a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Swansea on Saturday.

The heavy defeat left Town seven points shy of the play-off places but Magilton remains confident of claiming a top-six finish.

He said: "I believe I'm the right man for the job, definitely. You might not think I am but I do."

He added: "I don't think we're out of the promotion race. There are still 15 games left and I still believe we can get somewhere.

"We're not out of it, not at all."
