Aston Villa's Luke Young has left the England camp after picking up a toe injury.
Young was due to fly out to Seville on Monday night with the remainder of Fabio Capello's squad for Wednesday's friendly with Spain in Seville.
However, it was decided to take no chances with the Villa man, who has returned to the Midlands where his club hope to get him fit for Sunday's FA Cup tie at Everton.
As expected, Villa teammate Emile Heskey did not train due to an ankle injury but he made the journey to Spain, where he is expected to play a full part in Tuesday's session.
Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips also sat out training but, like Heskey, it is anticipated he will be involved on Tuesday.
England were not due to leave their Watford base until Tuesday but, having assessed the forecast for poor weather over the next 24 hours, Capello decided to bring departure forward.
