Burnley boss Owen Coyle has dismissed reports linking striker Ade Akinbiyi with a move to Coca-Cola Championship rivals Blackpool.

The much-travelled frontman has not been a regular starter at Turf Moor this season and has attracted interest from several clubs, including Blackpool.

However, Coyle insists those enquiries have gone no further and said: "There have been a number of enquiries about Ade, Blackpool being one. But that was three or four weeks ago and that's all it was, an enquiry."

Coyle said Akinbiyi is unlikely to join Blackpool, adding: "I don't enter into speculation, but there's certainly no chance of that being imminent or happening."
