Barnsley manager Simon Davey is hopeful he will be able to get winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce producing his best form again.

The Jamaican international, who had an impressive start to the season, was reported to have been subject to several seven-figure bids in the January transfer window but his performances have tailed off since.

He told the Yorkshire Post: "I'd love to get Jamal back terrorising defences, but he's probably lost his directness in his play. Whether that's because there have been bids in for him, who knows?"

"Perhaps we need to re-focus his game and take him 20-30 yards further up the pitch. We want to make sure he has an impact on the opposition's back four and not their midfield."
