Micky Adams is considering his future as Brighton manager following the Johnstone's Paint Trophy penalty-shoot-out defeat at Luton.

The Seagulls, who are in the League One relegation zone, missed out on a trip to Wembley in heartbreaking fashion after holding out for a 1-1 draw despite playing the second half with 10 men.

After the final whistle, Adams said: "The way I am feeling at the moment I will be sitting down with the chairman and the board to see where we go."

He added: "When that meeting takes place I don't know, I haven't put a timeframe on it but I'm sure I will be suitting down with the chairman to discuss things."
