Oldham boss John Sheridan is hoping to secure Reading defender Scott Golbourne on loan for a further month.

The defender's loan deal is due to expire after Saturday's game against Yeovil.

Golbourne has made five appearances so far for Oldham and Sheridan is keen to keep the youngster at Boundary Park, telling the club's official website: "Scott has done well during his time here and he is enjoying his football. I will be contacting Reading and hopefully we can sort something out."
