Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock is hoping to repay faithful fans with a home win against relegation rivals Watford.

Argyle are 19th in the Coca-Cola Championship despite registering their first win of 2009 - a 1-0 victory at leaders Wolves on Saturday.

And Sturrock is glad to have given the Argyle supporters something to cheer about, he said: "The fans have been brilliant over the past two games and really got behind us."

He added: "They really have lifted the team and I would like to think the team showed their appreciation with the win at Wolves.

"Now it would be nice to pay the fans back with our first home win of 2009. They deserve it."
