Ivorian striker Didier Drogba insists that Chelsea can build on their first-leg lead to overcome Juventus in Turin and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Drogba's goal at Stamford Bridge separates the two teams as Chelsea prepare to face the Serie A side in the last-16 return leg.

Drogba said: "We need to score in Juventus or draw, but it is not going to be easy. But I think we have the team to do it. The good thing is we didn't concede at home. In their stadium the game is going to be open so we will have chances to create some goals."

He added: "They have to score, so it will be an open game. Juventus are very special.

"They are a team that really play. I think the Italian league has changed anyway. They still have this reputation for having a strong defence but they attack a lot more now.

"Italian teams are not afraid to attack - look at the players they have. They are fantastic.

"Maybe we could have scored one or two more goals but the Champions League is a very difficult competition, so we have to be happy with the goal we scored at home."
