CM Punk Profile
Phillip Jack Brooks, better known under the ring name CM Punk, is a retired American professional wrestler who currently commentates on mixed martial arts (MMA), signed to Cage Fury Fighting Championships as a commentator. Punk is widely known for his time in WWE and is considered one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport. The 42-year-old’s 434-day reign as WWE Champion still stands as the longest of the 21st century.
After spending time during the early stages of his wrestling career with Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and other independent promotions, Punk joined the WWE in 2005 and has amassed ample amounts of success since. The American rapidly established himself as one of the big WWE stars, and several titles and championships came with that.
Overall, Punk is a three-time World Heavyweight Champion and was never an easy opponent for anyone to face. He also won the WWE Championship twice in his wrestling career and accompanied that with one ECW Championship. Money in the Bank is an event every WWE star dreams of winning; well, Punk did it twice and back-to-back in 2008 and 2009.
Punk has also inherited success with a partner, winning the World Tag Team Championship once with Kofi Kingston. The American also has one WWE Intercontinental Championship to his name and is a seven-time Slammy Award winner.
