Pimblett began his professional fight career in 2012, aged 17 when he defeated Nathan Thompson via TKO (submission to strikes).
The Liverpudlian would sign for Cage Warriors in 2013, remaining with the British promotion until his final fight at Cage Warriors 122, which took place in March 2021.
Pimblett won the CWFC Featherweight Championship on one occasion during his time with Cage Warriors, defeating Johnny Frachey to win the title at Cage Warriors 78 in September 2016. The MMA fighter would defend the title once successfully before dropping the belt to Nad Narimani via Unanimous Decision in April 2017.
The Liverpudlian fighter made his debut for the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till, defeating Luigi Vendramini via KO to win the Performance of the Night bonus.
Pimblett was also on show at the UFC London event in March 2022, besting Rodrigo Vargas via Rear-Naked Choke to again earn the Performance of the Night bonus.
